Rockport Takes 2nd Place on USA Today 10 Best Coastal Small Towns List

Rockport moved to its highest position yet on the USA Today 10 Best Coastal Small Towns list. Rockport ended up in 2nd place behind Sandusky, Ohio.

Criteria

A panel of five travel experts made the nomination for 20 cities across the coast, but the final ranking will be determined by popular vote. According to the contest website, each town nominated had a population of 25,000 or less.

We had a great showing getting to 2nd place and we switched back and forth from 1st to 2nd with Sandusky in the final days. We certainly will be nominated again!
